About our Ship Management System

We work to make sure that our navigation policies always takes into consideration the safe and economical shipping and the preservation of the global environment by abiding with all the laws and regulations including international conventions. Our ship management system consists of Seamen Team, Marine Team, Technical Team and Supply Management Team. FIL-STAR MARITIME CORPORATION involves Filipino crew management.
 

Seamen Team

Seamen Team conducts recruitment, education and crew management. It also covers seminar and training in cooperation with Marine Team, Technical Team and FIL-STAR MARITIME CORPORATION.

Marine Team

Marine Team conducts safe and economical shipping and environmental protection based on our Safety Management System in compliance with International Safety Management Code. It collects and examines weather information, navigation and port safety. It also informs these result and international regulation to our fleet.

Technical Team

Technical Team conducts repair, maintenance and superintendent of engineering work and supplies of bunker oil, lubricating oil, spare parts and consumables with operation cost controls.

FIL-STAR MARITIME CORPORATION

This company is a subsidiary of THE SANKO STEAMSHIP CO., LTD. It involves Filipino crew management.

Safe Navigation


Placing the highest priority to safe Shipping and environmental protection, we constructed Safety Management System to provide reliable marine transportation services. And complies with Safety Management Policy. Concrete measures are as this follow.

 

Sanko Ship Management System (SSMS※1)
We developed Ship Management System on our own and we have implemented the system into entire our fleet. This system creates an environment that can support safe navigation and safe operation of our fleet by synchronizing various data between vessel and office.
※１: This system has the following functions and integrates these functions onto same platform.
Crew Management System, Purchase Management System, Planned Maintenance System, Documentation Management System and Certificate Management System.
SANKO Green Nav（Routing Service）
We established SANKO Green Nav to provide the latest information of weather conditions and piracy attacks to the vessels and operators. When receiving the latest weather information, we provide an optimum routing to a destination to the vessel to minimize bunker consumption.
With SANKO Green Nav, we can provide the latest information of piracy attacks, thereby enabling us to alert the vessels and preventing a piracy attack.
Crew Training implementation
We implement crew training in order to share the latest information of shipping industry and new regulations.
Winter Safety Campaign
The company carries out Winter Safety Campaign in addition to the usual measures of accident prevention.　In this campaign, we will visit all fleet vessels regardless whether chartered vessel or owned vessel and then exchange suitable information and opinion to prevent accidents in winter season.
